iRoot – Rooting Guide for any Android Device


Android is one of the most popular Operating System in the market of Smartphones so far. It offers a variety of Applications and settings, but eventually reaches its limits of use and customization at some point. Rooting your Android Device (Smartphone or Tablet) will provide thousands of settings, skins and new applications that you missed out so far.
In the below Rooting guide, the tool we will use is the iRoot. IRoot is a Rooting tool that supports more than 116,896,245 Android devices from Android 2.2 (Froyo) to Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow). However, this number continues to grow.
iRoot is also known as Master Root. It is available for Windows as an .exe file and Android as .apk. iRoot helps you get your Android Smartphone in One-Click. Here I will guide How to use iRoot and make Root access on your Android Device.

NOTE

  • Your Android Device will be fully formatted by using this Root method
  • You Android Device will definitely void the warranty after you gain the Root access

IMPORTANT - Before you Begin

  • Make a complete backup of your Android Device.
  • Make sure your Android Device has at least 50% of battery remaining.

Rooting GUIDE – How to use iRoot?

  1. First of all, enable the USB debugging mode on your Android Device from the developer options.(To enable the developer options, go to Settings > About the phone > tap the Built Number for 7 times to enable Developer Options in the settings)
  2. Download and install iRoot on your PC
  3. Once the iRoot is successfully installed, open the iRoot Application
  4. Now connect your Android Device to the computer.
  5. If you have not installed the USB drivers for your Android Device, wait for the device to install it automatically. If it does not get installed then manually download and install the USB Drivers.
  6. Once your device is successfully connected to the PC, iRoot will automatically detect your device.
  7. Now click the Root Button to start the Rooting process(Do not handle the with the Device or touch the USB cable will the Device is getting Rooted)
  8. Once it is done, now download and install SuperSU from the Google Play Store.
    (this might help you control the Root permissions)
That’s it. Now you would have successfully Rooted your Android Device. For further confirmation you check the Root access with the Root Checker App which is available on the Google Play Store.
